Meet Alison
Alison Hodkin is a qualified Legal Accountant (England and Wales) and has 30+ years' experience in managing law practice trust accounts. She has also completed a Certificate IV in Bookkeeping and Accounting.
From June 2012 until January 2023, Alison worked as a Law Practice Compliance Investigator at the Law Society of South Australia where she delivered a gold standard approach in her work protecting client funds, educating the profession, and forensically untangling problematic accounts.
Alison is proficient in most trust account packages, including LEAP, Actionstep and the Law Society’s Trust Accounting Online System. She is also proficient in maintaining manual records. In addition to the trust accounting packages, Alison has knowledge of Xero for business accounting, including the preparation of quarterly BAS.
